As you can see, Pierre Hardy is brilliant! His bags and shoes are impeccably designed. He also designs shoes for Hermes and Balenciaga. The first time I laid my eyes on a Pierre Hardy handbag, I knew I had to have it. The lack of hardware, the soft buttery leather, the leather interior, the use of 2 colors or textures--all combined to perfection. Although his designs are clearly luxury items at luxury prices, I was willing to make other sacrifices to obtain the perfect handbag.
In Gap stores now, there is a line of shoes designed by Pierre Hardy so everyone can enjoy his designs. None of the shoes pictured in this post are from his Gap line.
