A Superfabulous Place to Eat

Felice Wine Bar on First Avenue between 64th and 63rd Streets is a cozy place. The marble bar is beautiful and the seating is comfortable. The food is authentic and fresh. The pasta with eggplant, tomatoes, and ricotta is out of this world. The other night I had the special, spinach pasta with a veal ragout, also amazing. Their cheese and meat plates are exceptional. While they do not provide iced tea refills, and their iced tea is mediocre, they have a sparkling Italian white wine that is $15 for a glass, but is absolutely delicious. Felice offers over 100 different bottles of wine, and 15 are offered by the glass.
