House of Lavande Visits Henri Bendel
House of Lavande will be on Henri Bendel's 2nd floor until at least September 21st, 2008; the visit is going so well, it is likely to be extended. The company is only 2 years old and is headed by Tracy Smith. She scours flea markets, estate sales, and private dealer stock all over the world to put this collection together. The vintage jewelry dates as far back as the 1920's, and some of the pieces in the collection are an amalgamation of a few vintage pieces.
1970's Necklace, $1,200
1950's Necklace, $3,500
The jewelry below is available in House of Lavande's eshop.
Remnants of 3 layered Czech Necklace, $2,200 and 1966 Trifari Earrings, $550
2000's Robert Sorrell Necklace, $2,400
1960's Kenneth Jay Lane Necklace, $4,800
House of Lavande's vintage couture jewelry collection includes dazzling earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pins and rings, but it is the necklaces that are the real showstoppers.
