You can never go wrong with well-designed, clear jewelry. The necklace will pick up the color of whatever is underneath it, and because the bubbles (or beads) are glass, the reflection and shine give a beautiful effect over skin or clothes.

I have a necklace with glass beads that I bought in 1998; it's timeless, and I've never worn it without receiving many compliments.

See how brilliantly the necklace picks up whatever is underneath it.

Dollhouse Furniture Becomes Life Size

In my original post about the superfab Leifsdottir display on Bloomingdale's second floor, I took you through Leifsdottir's dollhouse.

There was some controversy because the dollhouse was removed and then later moved to a high shelf on the selling floor so you couldn't see the stylin' furniture inside. Now the furniture from the dollhouse is life size at Bloomingdale's. See it to believe it!

I adore the clothes above, but some of the Leifsdottir sweaters and jackets have too much going on and look a little old-ladyish.

Because this line originated at Anthropologie, you can get these clothes there or on Anthropologie's website as well.

Bloomingdale's House Is a Very, Very, Very Fine House

Listen while you look at the pics.

In the middle of the 2nd floor of Bloomingdale's sits a very fine house.

Upon closer examination, the house is made by Leifsdottir, a Scandinavian surname meaning the daughter of Leif.

In February of this year, Anthropologie launched this new line of clothing. To be honest, I noticed the house and not the clothing so I'll have to go back for another looksee!

Pretty superfab, huh?

All this house needs is two cats in the yard.

Home Superfabulous Home

I was in Target the other day and I noticed they had some fantastic small tables that would be very useful and excellent looking in many different rooms. In the bedroom, they could go bedside for books, alarm clock, and a glass of water.

In the living room, they could go by the sofa or other seating for drinks, snacks, and books.

In the kitchen or garden (or anywhere else for that matter), it could be used for extra seating (or as a table)!

All the picture frames are from Anthropologie; they always seem to have a nice selection at the right price.

Not Only Clothes, but a Gallery Too!

When you think Anthropologie, you usually think clothes, accessories, and decorative items for the home. I got this great Velvet shirt at the Rockefeller Center location last week.

Even though it is basically just a T shirt, it is so much more. The shape is reminiscent of many superfabulous blouses and dresses from seasons past.

In my excitement about clothes, I digressed just a bit. Not only is Anthropologie a clothing store, but its Rockefeller Center location also houses a petite art gallery. Currently, Eloise Danch's art is on display. And if you love clothes as much as I do, I think you'll enjoy viewing her work.
