If I were Free Wednesday Night...

I would go to

at Laura Lobdell's Jewelry Shop

MACARONI MADNESS - THE THREEQUEL:
A CRAFTING AND FOOD EVENT BY LAURA LOBDELL JEWELRY AT BOBO

In time for Mother’s Day, artisanal jewelry designer Laura Lobdell and restaurant bobo are remembering the Macaroni Necklaces we made for Mom with a Macaroni Necklace Making Party and special Macaroni Menu on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, 6:00 to 8:30 at bobo, 181 West 10 Street at Seventh Avenue South.

Just like what we made for Mom back in the day, as in kindergarten, but with cocktails, guests will get to paint and string macaroni made of genuine 100% durum wheat semolina pasta on yarn to make jewelry with the “instruction” of jewelry designer Laura Lobdell. Crafters will each make their own version of Laura’s signature sterling silver Macaroni Collection (which includes her “Double Mac Necklace” and “Macaroni Cocktail Ring”).

Macaroni Crafters will receive individual “Macaroni Kits” courtesy of Laura Lobdell Jewelry, next door to bobo at 183 1/8 West 10th Street, from 6:00 to 6:45. Then at bobo, guests will get to make their macaroni jewelry.

The crafting is courtesy of Laura Lobdell Jewelry. A welcome glass of Secco will be offered thanks to the generosity of Barterhouse, Inc. Guests pay for food and beverages ordered.

Please reserve your place at Macaroni Madness, by RSVP to info@lauralobdell.com or 646.272.8483.

Menu

Macaroni will be celebrated with special themed snack dishes created for the occasion by bobo chef Patrick Connolly. “Classic Mac” with Gruyere and Ham, “Green Mac” featuring seasonal ramps, not quite Kraft, and “Crunchy Mac” dried and fried have been added to the menu especially for this event.
Macaroni Madness makes May marvelous.

U r 24K!

xoxo,
Krom
