The Herman Miller Sale is going on from June 6th to the 20th (2009, of course).
Today, the image I have of my grandfather is in this chair. As a kid, when I would visit my grandparents, my grandfather inevitably ended up in this chair. Was it its comfort? Its good looks? or its location? I'm not sure, but I think it was some magical combination.
It sure was fun to spin around in that chair on those rare occasions, when it was empty.
So when DWR calls this the granddaddy of loungechairs, I would have to agree.
